Language
Language has much power
the power to motivate
the power to force refection
the power to open minds
NOT the power to change a strong mind
the written word does not change opinions rather opens them
enlightens brightens for one
darkens shrouds for another
no two people see a written work the same
similar not the same
the power to open the inner eye
we all have one
it tells us what is truly important
what matters to us 
controls what matters to us.
the written word has the ability to  open that eye.
it shows us what we already knew
what we already believed -- what we thought
those things may seem foreign but they are not new.
the power to stagnate
the power to close minds
the power to introvert
language has all these things
but not the power to change.
